Overlooking Charlotte Amalie
Ideal Location -best beach on the island yet so close to bustling Charlotte Amalie
Located on St. Thomas' desirable East End, we are about a 20-30-minute drive from downtown Charlotte Amalie and just a mile from the village of Red Hook with its shops, marina, and ferry terminal. Choose dining in or out. Many popular restaurants and a well-stocked grocery market are within a 5-10-minute drive. From the Red Hook ferry terminal, you can take day excursions to St. John and the British Virgin Islands of Tortola, Jost Van Dyke, Virgin Gorda, and Anegada.

Many activities close by...
At a marina and water sports booth right next door to our complex, you can find kayaks, snorkel gear, windsurfing, and or be brave and go parasailing. A shallow ledge and reefs on the right side of our beach offer good snorkeling for sea turtles, eels, brightly colored fish, and interesting sea plants. On the beach, roving servers from nearby food shops are eager to take an order for food and drinks.
One of our favorite things to do is to take the ferry to St. John for a day or even just for dinner and watch the sunset from St. John or time the ferry ride back at sunset. Breathtaking.
Explore the island...
St. Thomas is just 32 sq. miles—about the size of the island of Manhattan—some 13 miles long from East to West and three miles north to south. It is divided lengthwise by a low mountain range that offers some spectacular views, such as overlooking the capital of Charlotte Amalie, located in the center east-west and along the southern waterfront.
The capital, with its shop-after-shop of duty-free delights, historic buildings, talented artisans, and spectacular views, is just 20-30 minutes from our place depending on traffic as is Havensight shopping area including upscale Yacht Haven Grande.
